If you’re working your butt off and your not seeing the results you want, you’re not the only one. It’s fairly common. Many men experience this challenge. It’s hard to admit but work ethic is NOT the same as progress. Working hard doesn’t equate to achieving victory. There is a stark difference. Just because you’re a hard worker, doesn’t mean you’re going to be successful. I hate to say it but it’s true. Work ethic is only a part of the equation. When I coach men on how to achieve three or four times more progress, most men don’t believe they can. It’s fairly easy once you have the system. The problem for most men is that they’re missing one or more elements in the 6P’s for Complete Progress.
The 6P’s of Complete Progress include Purpose -Passion – Priorities – Planning – Productivity – Progress.
Why do you get up every morning and do what you do? Do you have a strong enough purpose? If you don’t, you won’t have the energy to push through your challenges. The stronger your purpose, the stronger your passion.
The more passion you have for your goal, the more likely you are to achieve it. Studies show that the more emotions you put into your efforts to achieve your goal, the more likely you will be achieve them. I can confirm these studies with my experience in coaching men.
Here’s where I see most men fall short. You must have your priorities set straight. Not only for the year, but also for the quarter and also daily. The main reason why you may not be seeing the results you want is because you may be spreading yourself too thin. Also, realize that you have a limited amount of resources and where you use them absolutely matters.
Plan, plan, plan. Having your priorities straight and aligned with your end goal allows you to plan effectively. I’m amazed at how many men just don’t plan. Or their plan is “flimsy.” Nothing goes as exactly as planned but the more you plan, the more likely you are to anticipate challenges before they happen. When you plan, you become PRODUCTIVE.
Here’s the secret sauce, productivity. This is where you easily separate the guys who work hard vs. the guys who get stuff done. Again, work ethic is not progress. Productivity comes down to attention and energy. Stay focused and keep your energy levels high and your progress will shoot through the roof.
To experience massive progress, you must have each of the 6 P’s of Complete Progress. If you fall short on even one of them, you are incomplete. An incomplete system is ineffective. A complete system creates results like you wouldn’t imagine. I’ve seen guys go from struggling to tripling their results in a matter of days! Follow the system, it works!
All the best!
